Description
This is an old fashioned cocktail made fizzy with just a bit of bicarbonate of soda.
Ingredients
- 2 oz vodka
- 1 oz gin
- 1 oz bicarbonate of soda
Instructions
Combine vodka and gin in a cocktail glass and mix well. Slowly add bicarbonate of soda and stir gently three times.
Notes
This drink is from the old TV show "Bewitched". This drink was mentioned as a favorite of one of the characters. (He also invented the cocktail.) Bicarbonate of soda is also known as baking soda and was used to settle the stomach. It gives this drink a slightly acidic and unique flavor.
